AmongUs Cosplay

Yup, I've been hibernating for a while, doing some healing, but my girl's birthday is coming up so it is time to get out of my cave and do some sewing!

Because costumes are not  just for Halloween, right? Birthday parties, festivals, recitals... Are all great excuses for mama to play and create! 😁 For her 10th birthday (10 already!!! 😮) she wants an "Among Us" virtual party to play her favorite game with friends close and away. So I'm sewing some very "SUS" hats for the kids to have a colorful play and keep as favors.  These beanies are quick, easy and fun to make, with a shiny visor in the front, and a backpack/pocket in the back we'll use for a little message

And while at it, I added a little detail to create my littlest one's favorite skin😊   A little sewing goes a long way in celebrating them with very unique details, and it can be easier than you might think... by using simple traditional patterns tweaked into their favorite characters, and this little shortcut 😉   What would you sew for them next?  Happy stitching!
